Where on earth?

PS1: This is modeled on a very nice series that’s been running for years now at http://www.berkeleyside.com/tag/where-in-berkeley/. Of course this post is easy, but just as berkeleyside did I’ll try to put some tougher ones up in the future!

PS2: Guess how long it took me to write (and publish!) this post 🙂

Not sure if anyone can see these pictures — I’m having a really hard time with the upload…you should still be able to guess though 🙂

So, no live-blogging from QIP? Dave Bacon offered to set up a blog via email: “Since QIP 2013 is behind the great Chinese firewall will anyone be blogging? It would be a shame if not. If someone needs a way to blog by sending email, let me know and I can spin up a wordpress configured to post emails (not sure if that would help…)”. P.S. I think we know where. Took about an hour to post?

Well, at least I can still approve comments…and write posts it seems; not sure why the nice images are getting stuck. Suspense: they’ll appear next week!
