Bienvenue!

Welcome everyone,

I am not sure what this blog is going to be about. I am starting it as a repository in which I hope to keep notes about interesting talks I see, or papers I may read — a sort of online partial memory. Hopefully though it will take on a life of its own, and evolve into something I can’t predict — possibly involving gossip, travel, or even food-related items.

Since the end result will likely be a superposition of all the above, I chose a non-committal title: in quantum information theory a CQ, for Classical-Quantum, state is a state that is partially classical, and partially quantum. I’ll try to keep the two sides balanced here, and make contact with the hopelessly classical folks by decohering once in a while.

Happy reading!
